Job Title: Audit Administrator
Department: Audit
Reports to: Director / Training Officer
Short Summary of the role: Ensure that adequate administrative support is provided to the audit department and the training officer.

Experience: Experience working in an audit department in an administrative role.

Required Computer Package: Microsoft Office (advanced level). GreatSoft (advantageous).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Audit Department:
- Check and approve weekly timesheets for the audit department.
- Link task codes to clients for timesheets.
- Approve travel and overtime claims.
- Pull tax documents from EFILING for clerks.
- Do deed searches for the firm.
- Arrange training for the audit department.
- Prepare weekly WIP reports.
- Plan all audits and review jobs.
- Plan stock counts.
- Handle referral counts, quotes, etc.
- Arrange travel for audit staff (allowances, accommodation, car rental, flights).
- Request bank confirmations from the confirmation authority.
- Confirm start dates of audits.
GreatSoft:
- Create tasks and fees.
- Add new task codes.
- Add and terminate staff in GS.
- Update staff charge-out rates.
- Pull monthly timesheet reports from managers and directors.
- Print WIP reports for directors.
Auditor General:
- Handle invoicing.
- Send statements and follow up on debtors.
Company Vehicles:
- Maintain up-to-date logbooks for PKF(PE) vehicles.
- Establish procedures for when not in the office.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records, conduct inspections, organize services, and prepare monthly reports including scan logbooks, scheduled maintenance, and kilometers.
- Manage petrol cards.
- Ensure all drivers have valid licenses on file.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the firm's System of Quality Management (SOQM), policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to the Employee Code of Conduct, HR policies, SAICA, IRBA, and IESBA Codes of Conduct.
Work Complexity: Support directors and the audit department.
Level of Independence: Work independently.
