We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive strategic expansion and fuel our continued success. In this pivotal position, you will spearhead growth initiatives by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors across South Africa.

You will develop and execute forward-thinking growth strategies that align perfectly with the company's vision and evolving market trends, while conducting in-depth market research to uncover emerging opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and target high-potential clients.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Focus: Growth in Private and Public Sector Clients in South Africa
Strategic Business Growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, municipalities, and private sector clients.
  • Lead proposal development and tender submissions for public sector contracts.
  • Negotiate and close deals to secure long-term service agreements.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
  • Provide feedback to service teams to improve offerings based on client needs and market demands.
Brand & Market Positioning
  • Represent the company at industry events, expos, and networking forums.
  • Promote the company’s value proposition and service excellence in facilities management

1. Revenue Growth
  • 40% increase in revenue from new clients (private and public sectors).
  • Revenue generated from strategic partnerships or tenders won.
  • Market penetration to different sectors and industries
Group Companies Expansion
  • Market penetration initiatives for other Group Companies (Technical, Construction. Security)
  • Revenue generation from strategic partnerships in Private and Public sectors
2. Client Acquisition & Retention
  • Number of new clients acquired and lead generation per month.
  • Client retention rate and satisfaction scores.
3. Tender Success Rate
  • Number of tenders submitted vs. tenders won.
  • Value of contracts secured through public sector bids.
4. Pipeline Development
  • Number of qualified leads in the sales pipeline.
