The Business Development Manager Trainee will undergo hands-on learning to understand how a restaurant grows through marketing, customer engagement, and partnership development. The trainee will observe and support basic business development activities while being guided closely by the Director, without taking on KPI-driven responsibilities or leading critical operations.

• 1. Assist in gathering basic market information related to Japanese dining trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
• 2. Support in preparing simple reports, presentations, and proposals for potential partnerships or promotions.
• 3. Observe and assist in coordinating small‑scale marketing activities such as social media posting, menu highlights, or customer engagement initiatives.
• 4. Help maintain a database of customer feedback and potential corporate clients for reference and follow‑up by senior staff.
• 5. Accompany senior managers during meetings with suppliers, partners, or collaborators to learn communication and negotiation basics.
• 6. Assist in monitoring daily restaurant activities to understand customer flow, product popularity, and overall dining experience.
• 7. Support basic administrative tasks related to business development such as scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and updating contact lists.

Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered - 6 months

Mature Mid Career Individuals - $3,000
