Logistics Assistant
Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to monitor warehouse supplies, update shipment information, and ensure coordination with courier services. The role requires a diploma in Logistics Management and at least 2 years of experience in the industry. Candidates should be proficient in MS Office and comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems. The position involves maintaining training schedules and records for safety and supporting daily operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics industry.
- Computer proficiency required, especially in MS Office.
- Comfortable with Warehouse Management System.
Responsibilities
- Monitor warehouse and logistic supplies and manage PR for replenishment.
- Update shipment booking information monthly.
- Liaise with personnel for outbound shipments and ensure accurate information.
- Coordinate with courier services for seamless delivery.
- Manage training schedules for safety.
- Maintain training matrix for the team.
Skills
Education
- Monitor the consumption of Warehouse/Logistic supplies and raise PR for replenishment
- Monthly update of shipment booking information
- Liaise with internal and external personnel on outbound shipments and ensure proper shipment information is maintained
- Liaise with courier service providers to ensure seamless delivery processes
- Co‑ordinate with customers’ training in charge to reserve safety training time slot
- Monitor Warehouse/Logistic personnel safety permit expiry date and make suitable enrolment
- Communicate course information to participants and address their queries
- Maintain training matrix for Warehouse/Logistic team
- Ensure logistic team manning chart is updated
- Supporting cycle/inventory count
- Maintain PPE issuing record and replenishment
- Support daily operations tasks if required
- Diploma in Logistics/Operational Management
- 2 years of relevant working experience in the logistics industry
- Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Comfortable operating Warehouse Management System
