Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printers and cutting plotters. The ideal candidate should have a NITEC in Engineering and at least one year of printer-related experience. Responsibilities include providing technical support to customers, managing logistics, and delivering training to overseas dealers. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to create technical reports.
Qualifications
- At least one year of printer-related working experience, preferably in the printer industry.
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- Able to read technical manuals and create technical reports.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of company products.
- Provide technical support to dealers and customers.
- Attend to customer complaints and provide solutions.
- Provide technical training to overseas dealers.
- Manage logistics and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for pre-sales activities.
Skills
Education
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing company Products (Printers, Cutting Plotters, etc.) including software application.
- Provide technical support to Company dealers and customers on company products.
- Attend to customer's complaints and provide solutions that address their needs.
- Provide Technical Training to Oversea Company Dealers on company products.
- To record and submit all service data and reports properly as and when required.
- Logistic-related In-Out and Inventory management to ensure spare part availability.
- Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, sales, technical support) and external stakeholders (distributors, customers) to support pre‑sales activities such as sample printing, promotion kit preparation, and machine specification testing.
- NITEC in Engineering & above.
- At least one year of printer related working experience. Working experience in the printer industry (Dealer or Manufacturer) is a plus.
- Mechanical / Machine troubleshooting experience.
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- Able to read technical manuals and create technical reports upon dispatch.
