Technical Support Engineer (Printer/Mechanical/ Machine Troubleshooting / East)
Job summary
A recruitment agency is looking for a candidate based in Singapore to handle installation and support for printing products. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, technical support for dealers and customers, and training overseas dealers. Applicants should have at least one year of experience in the printer industry and good interpersonal skills. A valid driving license is a plus. Interested candidates can apply via email.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the printer industry.
- Valid Class 2/3 driving license is a plus.
- Experience with company products preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot company products.
- Provide technical support to dealers and customers.
- Attend to customer complaints and provide solutions.
- Conduct technical training for overseas dealers.
- Manage logistics and inventory for spare parts.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customers.
Skills
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing company Products (Printers, Cutting Plotters, etc.) including software application.
- Provide technical support to Company dealers and customers on company products.
- Attend to customer's complaints and provide solutions that address their needs.
- Provide Technical Training to Oversea Company Dealers on company products.
- To record and submit all service data and reports properly as and when required.
- Logistic-related In-Out and Inventory management to ensure spare part availability.
- Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, sales, technical support) and external stakeholders (distributors, customers) to support pre-sales activities such as sample printing, promotion kit preparation, and machine specification testing.
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player.
- At least one year of related working experience (printer related).
- Valid Class 2/3 driving license is a plus.
- Work experience in the printer industry (no matter is dealer or manufacturer) is a plus.
