Pricing Analyst
Job summary
A telecommunications company in Singapore is seeking a Pricing Specialist to oversee price registration and ensure accuracy for APAC operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong skills in marketing and pricing strategy. Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in both English and Mandarin are required. This role involves collaboration with various internal departments to enhance pricing systems and provide support for pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in pricing or related field, preferably in Telco or IT.
- Understanding of pricing and number literacy is essential.
- Product knowledge in industry context is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Oversee price registration accuracy for APAC subsidiaries.
- Maintain price registration history and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support APAC pricing matters for products, services, and software.
- Collaborate with product and solution managers on new pricing.
- Partner with IT and finance for pricing system improvements.
- Prepare reports based on audit requirements.
- Provide price trends and business performance analysis.
- Track business opportunities to secure deals.

- Oversee price registration into the regional system for APAC subsidiaries’ reference and order placing; ensure accuracy of registered prices
- Maintain price registration history and related supporting documents; ensure close follow up with related internal stakeholders till completion of required actions in a timely manner
- Support APAC region in pricing matters for our products, software, and services.
- Work alongside Product Managers and Solution Managers in developing the pricing action and setup for new products/solutions
- Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, Business Planning, Finance) for ongoing improvements of the pricing system, ensuring cohesiveness with all other departments’ workflow
- Support and prepare necessary reports/information based on audit requirements
- Support the preparation of the following for approval by Senior Management. Letters - Transfer Pricing, License notification etc.
- Provide price information, trends of price changes and currency, and analysis of gross margin and business performance to aid the management in formulating effective pricing strategy.
- Closely track the business opportunities, work with pre sales and sales in order to secure deals.
- Min.2 years in related field, and background forTelco related or IT related products is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or related discipline
- Possess Marketing & Pricing strategy / Transfer Pricing skills
- Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Powerpoint, and PowerBI
- Goodunderstanding of pricing / number literacy
- Product Knowledge (industry related) would be advantageous
- Good command of and fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin (in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates and review Mandarin documentations)
- Able to work independently
