Job summary
A music education institution in Singapore is seeking passionate individuals to teach music lessons to children and adults. Responsibilities include preparing students for exams, maintaining a positive learning environment, and collaborating with the school team. Candidates with a Diploma from recognized music institutions or music degree holders are encouraged to apply, and training will be provided for fresh graduates.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification from ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, or Rockschool required.
- Fresh graduates may apply.
- No prior teaching experience required - training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach individual or group lessons for children and adults.
- Prepare students for exams, recitals, and competitions.

- Teach individual or group lessons for children and adults
- Prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, and Rockschool exams, recitals, and competitions
- Guide and support students during school concerts, performances, and external events
- Plan engaging and effective lessons using the school's materials and resources
- Track each student's progress and communicate clearly with parents and students
- Work closely with other teachers and the school team to maintain consistent teaching standards
- Assist at the ccounter when needed, including issuing receipts and basic admin tasks
- Explain courses, lesson books, and student progress to parents clearly and confidently
- Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment in the school
- Participate in all official school events and activities
- Diploma or equivalent qualification from ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, or Rockschool
- Music degree holders are welcome; fresh graduates may also apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, professional, and able to work well in a team
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring students
- No prior teaching experience required - training will be provided
- Able to commit on weekends
- Comfortable assisting with counter duties and communicating with parents
- Basic computer skills - able to use Excel Word confidently
