Responsibilities

• Teach individual or group lessons for children and adults
• Prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, and Rockschool exams, recitals, and competitions
• Guide and support students during school concerts, performances, and external events
• Plan engaging and effective lessons using the school's materials and resources
• Track each student's progress and communicate clearly with parents and students
• Work closely with other teachers and the school team to maintain consistent teaching standards
• Assist at the ccounter when needed, including issuing receipts and basic admin tasks
• Explain courses, lesson books, and student progress to parents clearly and confidently
• Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment in the school
• Participate in all official school events and activities

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification from ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, or Rockschool
• Music degree holders are welcome; fresh graduates may also apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, professional, and able to work well in a team
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring students
• No prior teaching experience required - training will be provided
• Able to commit on weekends
• Comfortable assisting with counter duties and communicating with parents
• Basic computer skills - able to use Excel Word confidently
