Job summary
A premium recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a skilled Gemmologist & Production Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the retail luxury industry, preferably in gemstones. Responsibilities include gem identification, client consultation, procurement, and inventory management. The ideal candidate should be a certified gemmologist and willing to travel. Competitive salary starting from $4500 to $7000, plus sales commission and bonuses depending on company performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
- Ability to utilize advanced gemological instruments and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced gemological instruments to accurately identify and grade gemstones.
- Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection and investment.
- Assist in the selection of gemstones for jewelry design.
- Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory.
- Coordinate with designers on new product development.
