Job summary
A public healthcare supply chain agency in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Assistant to manage logistics support and inventory control within healthcare institutions. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and relevant experience. Responsibilities include inventory accountability, reporting, and assisting with daily operations. The role requires a GCE 'N' level or equivalent with store-keeping experience.
Qualifications
- Relevant store keeping experience is required.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
- Experience with inventory software and systems is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Support the receiving and distribution of inventory items.
- Ensure supplies are fulfilled in the hospital and maintain inventory.
- Generate inventory-related reports and perform counts during stocktakes.

As the Logistics Assistant in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Working in a team you will receive and distribute inventory items and ensure inventory accountability and accuracy in the system. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.
- Work in a team to support the receiving of deliveries, putting away to storage supplies, picking of supplies for distribution and processing of condemn return items from users
- Ensure supplies are fulfilled in hospital and perform daily housekeeping for the inventories
- Generate reports for inventory related information
- Monitor and review trends, participate in inventory management for the department / hospital
- Perform accurate count during cycle count and stock take
- Assist in administrative and operational needs for day to day running of store activities
- GCE 'N' level or equivalent, with relevant store keeping experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic excel and inventory software and systems experience (eg SAP/WMS)
- Good physical ability to lift heavy items
