Working hours: 5 days' work week | 9:00AM to 6:00PM
The ideal candidate will support, design & execute the VM requirements for all AP Brands stores in Singapore. He/she will work with Sales & Marketing team to ensure timely launch and identify issues against VM guidelines & standards. At the same time, he/she will need to be able to take on the responsibility of handling major projects such as launch, event, reinstatement and etc.
A. Key contact between HQ, GM, Brand and Mall/Retailer for Office/Store Design and Renovation
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team on VM launch schedule
Manage external suppliers & vendors to ensure setup is done according to brand guidelines and timelines
Liaise with HQ on ordering & shipping of visual merchandising materials
Conduct regular checks and provide guidance to retail staff to ensure display compliance
Store maintenance work, reinstatements
B. Conceptualization of Office/Store Design and Launch
Assist the Brand/HQ Store Design team to conceptualise the designs by submitting key components that affect the visibility of the store
Good tracking of the retro planning of the design/launch and follow up with the markets
To ensure collaboration with the Brand team on the brief for each design/launch
Handling retail projects to drive retail-tainment and traffic into store
Design, sourcing and arranging production of seasonal VM props
Working on creative proposal adapted to the given spaces by using dedicated 2D/3D software
To work with Brands, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure that the markets enjoy cost effectiveness, smooth delivery, and qualitative POP elements on time
Ensure high Visual Merchandising and Counter Design standards across Singapore
Review and advise local design implementation based on approved materials, specification / POSM (Point-of-Sales Material) offerings from brand/global guidelines
C. New launches and Counter installations
Feedback specific needs of the market to Brand/HQ teams and vice versus
Regular report on project status and market trends / competitor’s activities
Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising or related field
Preferably minimum 1-2 years of retail merchandising or related field experience preferred in visual merchandising or industrial design at a retail or corporate office.
Experience working in fast-paced organization with strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & MS Office and other graphic/3D design software
Keen interest & knowledge of retail environments and trends
