Job description

Salary: $3000-$6000

Time: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 6pm

Location: Near to Macpherson/Paya Lebar MRT

Responsibilities:

System Design & Architecture

• Engage clients to understand business needs and craft end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
• Design network, storage, and compute architectures with clear documentation and technical diagrams.

Implementation & Deployment

• Install and configure servers, storage systems, and networking hardware/software.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and quality benchmarks.

Administration & Maintenance

• Perform regular system updates, performance tuning, and patch management.
• Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery protocols are in place.

Network & Security Management

• Design secure, high-performance network infrastructure using routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Implement security frameworks, conduct audits, and manage vulnerabilities.

Client Support & Collaboration

• Provide tier-3 support, collaborate with client IT teams, and conduct training where needed.
• Ensure smooth operation, integration, and high availability across systems.

Project Management

• Manage infrastructure projects end-to-end—from planning through execution.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders effectively.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies.
• Suggest and implement innovative solutions to improve performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, CISSP (nice to have)
• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure roles, preferably in a system integrator environment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering full-cycle infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills:

• Network management: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Windows & Linux server admin.
• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Storage systems: SAN, NAS.
• Automation via PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
