Job description
Market Research and Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities.
- Analyze competitors and industry developments to inform strategy.
- Identify and evaluate new business prospects in line with company goals.
2. Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, digital outreach, and attending industry events.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients or partners.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions or services.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Create persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
- Negotiate contracts and close business deals that align with the company’s financial goals.
5. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Work closely with senior management to develop business development strategies.
- Identify partnership opportunities to expand the company’s reach.
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and brand awareness efforts.
6. Collaboration and Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to ensure successful delivery of products/services to clients.
- Provide feedback from clients to help refine products or services.
7. Reporting and Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and progress reports.
- Track KPIs and prepare regular reports for management on pipeline status, sales performance, and forecasts.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability
- Proven sales or client acquisition experience
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Proficiency in CRM software and business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Adaptability and resilience in a competitive business environment
