A leading company in Singapore is seeking a seasoned business development professional with a strong background in sales and relationship management. Ideal candidates will possess at least 6 years of relevant experience and be adept at achieving revenue targets. This role demands strategic thinking and excellent negotiation skills in a fast-paced environment.
1. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Account, Marketing, Sales, International Business, or a related field.
MBA or other relevant advanced degrees are a plus (especially in strategic or senior roles).
2. Work Experience
at least 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing strategic deals.
Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., tech, finance, manufacturing, healthcare) is preferred.
3. Skills
Strong understanding of sales principles, pipelines, and deal closing strategies.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong relationship-building abilities and a client-first mindset.
Market research and opportunity analysis capability.\
Strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture while managing details.
4. Technical & Analytical Tools
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM).
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace.
Data analysis and reporting skills are a plus (e.g., using Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
5. Soft Skills
Results-driven and self-motivated.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Adaptability in a fast-paced or constantly evolving business environment.
6. Other Requirements
Willingness to travel as needed (for client meetings, trade shows, etc.).
Multilingual ability (especially English + a local/regional language) can be an advantage in global roles.
Legal knowledge for contracts and commercial agreements is a plus.
