Actxa is hiring for Marketing and Communications Manager
We are a dynamic wearable technology company expanding our footprint across Southeast Asia, delivering next-generation health and wellness solutions. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our marketing, brand communication, and customer engagement initiatives across key SEA markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of the region, can localize messaging, and drive performance through digital and partner-driven campaigns.
What will you do?
Regional Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to each SEA market, aligned with brand and business objectives.
Analyze local consumer behaviors, market dynamics, and competitors to inform campaign development.
Adapt global marketing initiatives for local relevance and effectiveness.
Brand & Content Localization
Ensure all messaging and content reflects the cultural, linguistic, and lifestyle preferences of target markets.
Oversee production of region-specific assets including website content, social media, promotional videos, and customer success stories.
Uphold brand voice while adapting for local language and tone when needed.
Digital & Influencer Marketing
Manage digital campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, and regional platforms.
Build and manage relationships with influencers, fitness communities, and wellness creators in each country.
Optimize campaigns for engagement, acquisition, and conversion, using data-driven insights.
Public Relations & Media
Coordinate media outreach, press events, and launches in key cities.
Manage relationships with regional media outlets, tech bloggers, and healthcare reporters.
Craft regionally adapted press releases and coordinate translations when needed.
Partnerships & Go-to-Market Activities
Collaborate with local distributors, e-commerce partners, and health/fitness organizations to boost market reach.
Support sales and channel marketing teams with co-branded campaigns and promotional materials.
Represent the brand at SEA industry events, expos, and pop-ups.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Deep understanding of SEA markets, cultural nuances, and consumer preferences.
Proven experience developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns in the region.
Strong digital marketing skills, including performance marketing and influencer outreach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency or working knowledge of Bahasa, Thai, or Vietnamese is a plus.
Strong project management, creative thinking, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in wearable tech, consumer electronics, digital health, or lifestyle brands.
Familiarity with regional data privacy, health claims, or advertising regulations.
Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5–7 years in marketing and communications roles, with 2+ years in a regional or SEA-focused position.
