Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluation of educational training programmes in community care.
  • Responsible to ensure continuous nursing capability development, up-scaling and education of all registered nurses, enrolled nurses, care concierges and administrative staff according to their training and learning analysis.
  • Facilitate implementation and execution of educational administrative liaison duties relating to Allium Care Suites and Allium Care Studio.
  • Act as an educational resource personnel in Allium Healthcare.
  • Develop training initiatives to promote the clinical provision of care in the older adults.
  • Alignment of educational initiatives in accordance with the organisation’s Mission, Vision, & Core Values.
Scope and Range
Essential Functions
  • Analyse and update changes in aged care training and education in the community, government departments, and inter‑organisational relations.
  • Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, doctors, and service quality personnel to identify learning gaps and training needs of clinical staff.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate training and educational courses, workshops and programmes with peers and colleagues. Serve as a resource person for clinical training and education.
  • Examine and discuss learning and development objectives with care team with regards to their professional development in alignment to organisational goals.
  • Provide consultancy services and analysis of the changes in aged care training and education in the community, government departments, and inter‑organisational relations.
  • Conduct orientation programmes for newly recruited nurses, care concierges and other external healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate clinical internship or clinical workplace attachment for students / interns in Allium Healthcare.
  • Develop training curriculum and modules according to evidence‑based practices in order to facilitate the application and transfer of learning in clinical ground.
  • Evaluate and review nursing clinical procedures, protocols and practice guidelines regularly to ensure timely communication and dissemination to all relevant parties.
  • Evaluate clinical, nursing and care staff work performance and identify team core competencies, strengths and weaknesses for improvement.
  • Ensure skill competencies, Nursing Standards, Enhanced Nursing Home Standards, Guidelines for Home Care and Guidelines for Centre‑Based Care are carried out and maintained.
  • Educate and demonstrate the appropriate utilisation and application of medical/non‑medical equipment to ensure accuracy and safety in delivery of care.
  • Conduct regular training and audit on clinical skills and customer service. Support quality improvement projects in nursing/clinical / aged care services.
  • Participate in regular discussions with the clinical staff to review and update on all educational and training programmes/workshops.
  • Participate in designing ongoing and in‑service educational activities.

  • Keep abreast with latest developments in nursing and clinical practices through evidence informed literature /studies/ research.
  • Formulate costing for internal and external courses, workshops and programmes for community engagement team/ outreach projects.
Systems and Administrative Support
  • Assist in realignment of clinical, nursing and personal care staff within the continuum care system.
  • Prepare all documentation for clinical / aged care training and educational budget.
  • Assist with data collection and submission for enhancing business operations.
  • Answer queries from internal and external parties in relation to clinical and nursing training and educational matters.
  • Provide administrative support in the training and educational projects/programmes.
  • Keep proper records and documentation on all internal and external trainings, educational courses, workshops projects and programmes.
  • Comply with the organisation approved standards, procedures, protocols and policies.
  • Complete statistic/information as required.
  • Familiar with all aspects of the organisation administrative, emergency and fire evacuation policies and procedures and ensure learning is carried out for all relevant levels of staff.
  • Use appropriate IT system for documentation stipulated by the organisation.
  • Monitor the use of training equipment to ensure appropriate use of resource and report gaps or shortages.
  • Collect data required to meet audit and performance management targets in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) relating to clients and staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Conducted TNA, 4 levels Course Evaluation and formulate Skills Competency Framework in clinical track.
  • Newly/ start‑up operations in care centres / nursing homes/ other elderly home care services.
Qualification
  • Possess a Registered Nursing Certificate.
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Relevant postgraduate study at master’s level is preferred.
  • Trained in coaching, counselling and mentoring.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant local clinical training experience in colleges, hospital and/ or preferably in nursing home settings.
  • Proficient in MS Office and advanced computer skills, knowledge. Excellent in presentation skills and producing MS Powerpoint slides or other media in producing teaching materials.
  • Knowledge in infoCare system will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements
  • Possess up‑to‑date BCLS/ CPR Certificate.
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and/ or weekends and public holidays if required.
