Descripción de la vacante
A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the OSS team and manage all IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or computer science, with at least 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure. Key responsibilities include overseeing deployment and lifecycle management, ensuring system quality control, and supporting budget management. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Linux and Windows are essential for this role.
Formación
- Minimum of 5 years of IT Infrastructure experience with a degree in EE or CS.
- Strong communication and documentation skills required.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and WAN/LAN technologies.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and manage the OSS team overseeing IT infrastructure operations.
- Plan and manage lifecycle management of IT infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with departments on strategic priorities and budget constraints.
- Ensure quality control in system design, deployment, and training.
- Support Head of Department in budget management and communication.
Conocimientos
Educación
- Lead and manage the OSS team and oversee all local and global IT Infrastructure operations, ensuring systems are well-maintained and aligned with business and organizational objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage deployment, lifecycle management, system support, and application maintenance for all IT infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with departments, business units, and global service managers to set priorities, drive strategies, and support company objectives within budget and resource constraints.
- Ensure quality control of system design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and training, while establishing effective procedures and best practices.
- Support the Head of Department in budget management and maintain effective communication across global and local IT teams as part of the wider IT organization.
- MS/BS in EE or CS with at least 5 years of IT Infrastructure experience.
- Strong communication, writing, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Linux, Windows, and WAN/LAN technologies.
- Experience in project management, vendor management, and e-commerce–related projects.
