A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee product development and project delivery. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, driving digital innovation, and leading teams in product lifecycle management. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in Agile methodologies and stakeholder engagement. This is a senior position, offering an opportunity to shape product strategies in a dynamic environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for in-house development and cross-functional collaboration.
Engage stakeholders to drive digital innovation and translate business needs into actionable product features.
Define and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in alignment with organisational objectives.
Manage and prioritise the product backlog, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and user experience.
Lead product discovery activities, including user research, requirements analysis, and prototyping, to validate ideas prior to development.
Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and delivery through continuous improvement, support, and operations.
Ensure in-house developed products meet quality, scalability, performance, and usability standards.
Oversee end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple initiatives within the in-house development portfolio.
Establish and enforce agile delivery practices, ensuring consistency in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Track progress against milestones, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Act as the primary liaison between business units and development teams to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
Communicate project and product updates clearly and effectively to senior management and key stakeholders.
Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and articulate business requirements in technical terms where required.
Lead and manage teams, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to support professional growth and capability development.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback aligned with individual and organisational goals.
Promote a learning culture through knowledge sharing, retrospectives, and internal capability-building initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, product management, software development, or digital transformation.
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or team lead capacity.
Strong proficiency in product lifecycle management, Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, and roadmap planning.
Proven experience coaching teams in product strategy, leadership, and resource management.
Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with a high level of independence in decision-making.
