• Salary: $6,000 - $9,000 with AWS, Variable Bonus
• Reports to: Head of Tax
• Position: Tax Accountant or Tax Manager (Sole Contributor)
• Location: Boon Lay (Transport Pickup from Tampines, Serangoon, Jurong East)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, including transfer pricing requirements, across all regional entities.
• Oversee timely review and filing of corporate tax returns with the Finance team.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend strategies to manage risks and reduce tax exposure.
• Maintain proper documentation for intra-group transactions to support transfer pricing compliance.
• Review business arrangements to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies.
• Manage tax reporting processes including provision balances, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and annual tax accounting
• Set up and maintain a central database for Group tax reporting and BEPS Pillar 2 readiness
• Provide tax advice on business transactions, contracts, M&A, intercompany arrangements, and HR-related tax issues
• Support applications for tax incentives and government grants
• Handle tax audits and queries from authorities in collaboration with local Finance teams
• Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on business operations
• Drive continuous improvement in tax processes, systems, and controls
• Share knowledge and conduct tax-related training sessions for Finance teams
• Assist in rolling out tax policies, tax governance frameworks, and best practices
• Support other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in multinational companies handling regional tax matters is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in direct/indirect taxes and working experience with transfer pricing
• Solid accounting and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply tax laws independently
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
