Job Responsibilities:

1. Global Tax Compliance:

Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax regulations across all jurisdictions, including the US, Singapore, China, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.

2. Tax Planning & Optimization:

Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize corporate tax exposure, including identifying incentives, managing tax risks, and improving group tax structures.

3. Cross-border Taxation:

Handle matters such as transfer pricing, withholding tax, and the application of international tax treaties. Provide guidance on structuring intercompany transactions efficiently.

4. Statutory Reporting & Filing:

Oversee the preparation and submission of tax filings and statutory reports. Support external tax audits and internal controls relating to taxation.

5. Tax Risk Management:

Identify and assess tax-related risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain documentation to support tax positions and compliance.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with Finance and Legal teams across regions to support business initiatives from a tax perspective.

7. Regulatory Awareness:

Stay abreast of global tax developments (especially IRAS guidelines in Singapore), regulatory changes, and their potential impact on the business. Provide timely updates and implement necessary changes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field. A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent is highly preferred.

• 7–10 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in international or regional roles with exposure to multiple tax regimes.

• Solid understanding of global tax regulations, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and withholding tax.
