Procurement Specialist
Job summary
A leading automotive innovation center in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect materials. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, conducting spend analysis, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has at least 3 years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation skills and familiarity with procurement software like SAP. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect procurement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive cost savings.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end procurement activities for indirect purchase categories.
- Review, discuss and negotiate contract clauses with suppliers.
- Conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure delivery on time and arrange shipment based on incoterm.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement needs.
- Track and report on procurement KPIs and performance metrics.

This position is responsible for purchasing of indirect materials for the manufacturing plant in a timely and cost efficient manner.
- Manage the end to end procurement activities for indirect purchase categories i.e Office supplies, equipment purchase, MRO, facility management, subsidiary material and etc.
- Review, discuss and negotiate the contract clauses with supplier for the best interest of company.
- Conduct spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure the delivery on time and arrange the shipment delivery based on incoterm.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions in line with business objectives / strategies.
- Track and report on procurement KPIs and performance metrics.
- Participate in any procurement related activities as assigned by HoD.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect procurement
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive cost savings
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g. SAP)
