Job summary

A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for the maintenance and management of ACMV systems. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services and 3 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership, technical troubleshooting skills, and a customer-oriented mindset are essential. This role involves supervising preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring safety compliance while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Facilities managers, engineers, contractors and client
  • Responsible in leading a team of Technicians for facilities management activities
  • Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works
  • Supervise and carry out all preventive and breakdown maintenance for air con, ACMV and general building devices.
  • Assist and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of ACMV systems and ensure compliance with Singapore’s safety and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to facilities management
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification works or ad-hoc jobs
  • Provide Investigate, analyze and assessment to determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively
  • Prepare technical reports on breakdowns and proposals
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc project, assignment, maintenance or repair work assigned
  • Ensure complete documentation of procedures and maintenance works
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent
  • 3 years relevant experience in Facilities Management managing ACMV equipment / chillers / mechanical / electrical / building / projects etc.
  • Able to work independently, resourceful and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills, positive mindset with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Customer service oriented mindset
