Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager / Facilities Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of office facilities and critical infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable building services, IT and server room support, safety compliance, and vendor coordination.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline;
- Must have 4+ years of hands‑on experience in facilities operations or corporate real estate, preferably within financial services, technology, or IT‑driven environments;
- Must have strong technical knowledge of UPS and generator systems, electrical distribution, HVAC, and fire suppression systems (FM‑200 / pre‑action);
- Must have proven experience managing door access control systems and CCTV platforms;
- Solid understanding of vendor management, maintenance coordination, and building management systems (BMS);
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting;
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work independently and provide after‑hours or emergency support when required.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience supporting server rooms or data centre‑like environments, with knowledge of Singapore safety, fire, and audit compliance requirements;
- Proven experience in facilities budgeting, cost tracking, contract management, and vendor coordination;
- Strong problem‑solving and incident management capabilities with a proactive, service‑oriented mindset;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, supported by strong documentation and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office facilities operations including electrical systems, HVAC, UPS, generators, lighting, and plumbing;
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all building systems are functioning optimally;
- Support IT and server room infrastructure, including power supply, cooling systems, FM‑200 / pre‑action fire suppression, and environmental monitoring;
- Administer door access control systems, including user access management and after‑hours support;
- Oversee CCTV operations, including system monitoring, footage retrieval, and coordination with security vendors;
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with vendors, contractors, and building management;
- Manage vendors, contractors, and incident response activities, ensuring timely issue resolution;
- Ensure safety, fire, and audit compliance in accordance with Singapore regulatory and workplace standards;
- Support space planning, office setup, and staff relocations in collaboration with internal stakeholders;
- Liaise with landlords, vendors, and internal departments for operational matters and escalations;
- Oversee overall office operations to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment;
- Ensure facilities operations adhere to company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate budgets, contracts, and maintenance documentation;
- Provide additional administrative and operational support as required.
