Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform measurements on high voltage electrical assets and assist in maintenance work. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. The role offers training for entry-level applicants and requires handling various specialized testing equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform online and offline partial discharge measurements for HV electrical assets.
- Conduct offline cable testing above 6.6kV rated cables.
- Assist in servicing maintenance work by project teams.

Position: Electrical Engineer
Salary: $3,800 to $4,100 + AWS + VB
Working Days: 5 days (based on project); OT Paid
Working Location: Joo Koon (Transport is provided from 6 MRT pickup points: Paya Lebar, Serangoon NEX, Bishan, Jurong East, Joon Koon, Woodlands)
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
- Training will be provided for entry level
- Online and Offline Partial Discharge Measurements for HV electrical assets such as cables, transformers, switchgears, motors and generators
- Offline Cable testing (Hi-pot test, Megger test, Tangent Delta test) above 6.6kV rated cables
- Infra-Red Thermography for HV and LV switchboards
- Lightning protection and earthing system measurement
- Assist in servicing maintenance work by project teams
- Handling of multiple test equipment from Omicron, Doble Engineering, Qualitrol, IRIS Power, EA Technology, HVPD, PDS, B2 and IPEC
