Job description
About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Event Sales Manager to lead and grow our events business. In this role, you’ll drive event sales, manage client relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of memorable experiences — from boutique workshops and brand activations to large-scale celebrations and corporate functions.

If you’re passionate about hospitality, love building relationships, and thrive in a fast‑paced, creative environment, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Event Sales & Business Development

  • Respond to and manage all event inquiries across email, phone, and walk‑ins with professionalism and speed.

  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, packages, and event contracts.

  • Conduct venue tours and presentations for prospective clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Plan & Organize Events

  • Report to the Event Sales Director and collaborate closely with the Event Executive and internal teams to plan and execute a wide range of events — private celebrations, corporate gatherings, product launches, weddings, and more.

  • Meet clients to understand their needs, budget, and creative vision, then translate these into detailed event plans.

  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen, service, operations, and external vendors to ensure all requirements are met.

  • Prepare comprehensive event documents including timelines, menus, floor plans, BEOs, and schedules.

3. Lead On‑Site Event Execution

  • Oversee event setup and serve as the main point of contact for clients on event day.

  • Manage staff coordination, guest flow, VIP handling, and real‑time troubleshooting.

  • Ensure smooth execution and maintain exceptional service standards throughout the event.

  • Supervise event teardown and ensure the venue is reset according to company standards.

4. Maintain Organization & Documentation

  • Keep accurate records of contracts, payments, event details, and layouts.

  • Assist in managing event‑related inventory, décor, equipment, and supplies.

  • Prepare post‑event reports summarizing performance, client feedback, and opportunities for improvement.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Gather feedback from clients and internal teams after each event.

  • Analyze event performance to improve efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on industry trends to introduce new ideas, concepts, and experiences.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in events, hospitality, F&B, or related fields.

  • Strong sales ability with a proven track record in event sales or account management.

  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable in fast‑changing situations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by event schedules.

What You’ll Get

  • Hands‑on experience across the full event lifecycle — from sales to execution.

  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.

  • Opportunities for career growth, mentorship, and professional development.

  • A chance to contribute to meaningful and memorable experiences for our guests.
