• The role is to for an industry coverage banker with the Automotive team responsible for global industry coverage across the value chain
• Support in developing key regional / country plans for the respective coverage market
• Work closely with global & regional RMs and product partners to:
  • Develop account plans for the key clients as well as the broader market coverage
  • Deepen and broaden relationships through cross border and regional solutions across all commercial and investment banking offerings such as syndicated loans, Global Transaction Services, Treasury solutions including currency & interest rates, Debt & Equity Capital Market, and Strategic Advisory / M&A. This will include preparing pitch books, term sheets and structure regional solutions.
  • For cases under direct coverage, the role also involves preparing credit reviews, managing client relationship end-end and support transactional & operational needs of the client. For cases jointly covered with the region, role involves supporting the in-country RMs on their credit submissions including preparation of industry concurrence paper
• Supervise/prepare financial analysis or models including projections based on sound business and market assumptions on key transactions
• Overall portfolio management of the markets under coverage as per guided target market and risk management principles
• Support other broader initiatives in thematic industry priorities or risk management exercises due to industry or macro developments

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related discipline
• Minimum of 7-8 years experience in corporate & investment banking
• Strong credit and financial analytical skills, experience in industry research
• Results-oriented with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
• Prior experience as banker in automotive or related industries is an added advantage
