A leading restaurant management company in Singapore is seeking a General Manager (Restaurant Operations) to oversee all aspects of restaurant management. The role involves ensuring profitability, high service standards, and effective staff management. You will manage daily operations, recruit and train staff, improve service quality, and handle customer complaints. Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring profitability, high service standards, and effective staff management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations
- Manage sales performance, cost control, and implement profit improvement strategies
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff
- Maintain and improve service quality and customer experience
- Plan menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Report operational performance to owners or head office
Qualifications
- Management experience in the food and beverage industry (e.g., Store Manager, Supervisor, General Manager)
- Experience in staff management and sales control
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple restaurant locations
- Experience with new restaurant openings
- English or additional language skills (for international or inbound customers)
Full‑time (44 hours a week): $8000 to 12000/ month, depending on experience.
