General Manager (Restaurant Operations)

Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring profitability, high service standards, and effective staff management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily restaurant operations
  • Manage sales performance, cost control, and implement profit improvement strategies
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff
  • Maintain and improve service quality and customer experience
  • Plan menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Report operational performance to owners or head office

Qualifications

  • Management experience in the food and beverage industry (e.g., Store Manager, Supervisor, General Manager)
  • Experience in staff management and sales control
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing multiple restaurant locations

  • Experience with new restaurant openings
  • English or additional language skills (for international or inbound customers)

Full‑time (44 hours a week): $8000 to 12000/ month, depending on experience.
