Roles and Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
Define and execute product vision, mission, and roadmap in collaboration with Product Owner and stakeholders.
Identify digital transformation opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies.
Manage product budget, secure funding, and monitor expenditure.
User Research and Design:
Apply Design Thinking methodology to identify gaps and develop solutions.
Conduct user research and experiments to validate solutions and improve user journey;
Research Government landscape and competing solutions.
Create data-driven analytics and insights for decision-making.
Product/Project Management and Delivery:
Manage project scope, budget, schedule and reporting for development and maintenance projects.
Oversee vendors and coordinate with application and infrastructure teams.
Lead stakeholder management across business division, procurement and finance functions.
Support IT systems procurement processes and ensure Service Level Agreements compliance for projects and incidents.
Requirements and Quality Assurance:
Lead requirement gathering and review project deliverables (e.g. functional specifications, test plans and results, user guides and documentation).
Plan and coordinate testing activities (User Acceptance, Security, Performance), Training and Implementation.
Ensure product readiness for deployment and operations.
System Maintenance and Compliance:
Analyse enhancements requests and coordinate maintenance with support teams;
Ensure compliance with IT management, quality and security policies.
Knowledge and Skills
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or related roles
Hands‑on experience in full product development lifecycle
Technical Knowledge:
Experience in:
Product Management and IT business analysis
Application solutioning design and testing
Modern development practices such as Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product‑Centric Development
Data analysis and product analytics
Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying, managing, and scaling applications, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch
Salesforce platform, including experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Agentforce, focusing on implementation, configuration, and integration for CRM solutions, process automation (e.g., flows, workflows), and reporting.
Knowledge of current product trends, best practices and technologies
Professional Certifications (Advantageous):
Project Management Professional certification (PMP), Certified IT Project Manager (CITPM), Certified Scrum Master or equivalent
Experience in Government projects and vendor management
