About the Job

As the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing all regulatory frameworks for the firm's operations, acting as the regulatory liaison.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the comprehensive compliance strategy in line with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and manage all regulatory reporting and submissions.
• Establish and champion a robust culture of fairness and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
• Oversee internal compliance training and guide business teams on new product launches and regulatory impact assessments.

Skills and Experience Required

• More than 12-15 years of experience in compliance, with time spent in the digital asset, blockchain, or FinTech sector; start-up experience is highly advantageous.
• Deep expertise in regulatory environments including requirements related to virtual asset service providers or Digital Payment Tokens (DPT).
• Proven leadership capability, including managing a team and interacting with C‑suite stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate the interplay between innovative business models and strict regulatory controls.
• Empathetic, confident, and knowledgeable leader who understands the complexities of the FinTech and digital asset landscape.
