Job description
Job Position: Investment Manager, Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify the trends in various sectors through primary and secondary research and build a steady pipeline of new prospects basis the investment thesis
  • Source and evaluate investment opportunities in startups
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis. Prepare and present high-conviction investment memos for IC evaluation and decision making.
  • Work with entrepreneurs and management teams to develop business plans and financial models
  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of investments, including tracking financial performance and providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies
  • Build relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other investors to stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities
  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the firm and participate in fundraising efforts
Requirements:
  • Undergrad in Technology, Business, Economics or Commerce from a top-tier institute/Chartered Accountant
  • MBA or CFA is not necessary, but will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in either Big 4’s transaction advisory or Due Diligence Team, Tech/ Venture Capital/ Corporate Finance/ or Consulting. We are open to evaluating candidates having experience of working at early-stage or hyper-growth startups
  • High degrees of ownership with a can-do attitude
  • Resourceful, dynamic, reliable and dependable, with high sense of responsibility for the nvestments under his/her portfolio
  • Understands South Asia markets very well and can source deals through their own networks
  • Open mindset and dynamism is an absolute must
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral form to all levels of the Company
  • Meticulous, well-organized, and demonstrates a high degree of ownership in work

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Singapore, with significant regional travel required.
