WORKPLACE SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER (WSHO)
Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer to ensure compliance with safety practices and regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and be a registered WSHO. Responsibilities include preparing safety programs, conducting inspections, and leading a culture of safety in the workplace.

- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, especially in large-scale projects.
- Strong self-motivation and diligence required.
Responsibilities
- Implement and prepare safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Advise on work plans and risk assessments.
- Lead and inculcate safe work culture.
- Compile and report daily safety inspections.

- Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH act
- Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
- Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture
- Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection
- Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients
- Participate and involve in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audit
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
- Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects
- Diligent, and self-motivated
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
