Job summary

A leading investment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Accounting function. Key responsibilities include assisting with financial closing, audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a degree in Accountancy or Finance, and be proficient in MS Office and accounting tools. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with audit and tax preparation.

Job description

This position will be responsible for the Accounting function based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of journals, audit schedules, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial results/management reports
  • Assist in analysis of financial results; preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises
  • Assist with audit and tax information preparation; liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and tax filing/compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with other ad-hoc assignments such as UAT as and when required
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or ACCA or its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry
  • Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik system and/or real estate knowledge would have an added advantage
  • Meticulous, analytical independent, a good team player and possess good communication skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work within stipulated timeline
