Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer to ensure compliance with safety practices and regulations. Qualifications

  • Registered as WSH Officer with Ministry of Manpower, Singapore.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, especially in large-scale projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation and implementation of Safety Program
  • Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH act
  • Advise on Work Plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture
  • Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection
  • Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients
  • Participate and involve in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audit
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
Job Requirements
  • Must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
  • Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a WSHO in Singapore, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Diligent, and self-motivated
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience
