We are hiring a Research Engineer (RE) to develop a novel knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating current computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element modelling (DEM) coupling methods.
- Develop a novel knowledge-driven AI framework for accelerating CFDDEM simulation
- Validate the proposed framework and apply it to granular materials related engineering such as geotechnical, coastal and chemical engineering.
- Develop a knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating coupled multi-phase modelling.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Demonstrate a research or professional background aligned with the development of the topic. Experience in multiple areas is highly desirable.
- Exhibit proficiency in coupled CFD DEM modelling (C++) and AI-related algorithms (Python).
- Display strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Open to fixed-term contract.
