Overview:

The Regional Accountant / Head of Finance is responsible for managing all financial operations across the company’s businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Australia. This is a senior leadership role, overseeing all financial activities within the region. This position ensures financial strategic planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management to support regional growth and operational excellence. This role will oversee a team of locally based accountants/bookkeepers and will have a matrix reporting structure to both the CEO and in market General Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with regional business objectives.

· Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the region.

· Manage financial reporting, analysis, and performance metrics to provide insights to senior management.

· Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

· Lead and coordinate regional audit processes and internal control measures.

· Provide financial guidance on large projects, investments, and cost management initiatives.

· Record and manage financial transactions related to business activities cross the region.

· Prepare financial reports on regional sales, expenses, and profitability.

· Work closely with distributors and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.

· Analyze regional distribution costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Experience in accounting, preferably within the distribution or retail sectors.

· 8-10 Years working experience preferably in a regional business environment

· Knowledge of accounting principles and regional regulations.

· Proficiency in accounting software preferably Oracle Netsuite

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and organizational abilities.
