Job summary

A leading bank in Singapore is seeking a Reception & General Affairs Support to perform reception duties, support general affairs, and manage customer interactions. Candidates should have a minimum diploma and a positive service-oriented attitude. This role is suitable for entry-level applicants and provides opportunities to gain experience in banking operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma holder required.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome. Prior experience in reception, administrative support, or banking operations will be an advantage.

Reception & General Affairs Support


  • Perform reception duties including switchboard operation, handling customers’ enquiries, and receiving/serving guests

  • Coordinate courier services and manage outgoing mail

  • Record and distribute incoming mail and courier items

  • Handle SWIFT operations

  • Collect Letters of Credit at the counter

  • Maintain and control authorized signatures of correspondent banks/agents

  • Coordinate the month-end customer account statements to be sent out

  • Undertake official errands in the absence of office dispatch staff

  • Provide administrative support to the General Affairs Department

  • Perform any other work-related tasks as assigned by the Branch’s Managers.

  • Schedule the collection of documents for secured destruction and request collection boxes when necessary

  • Record GST transactions and submit them to the Accounting/Reporting Department for the quarterly GST claim


Operations Support


  • Account Opening

  • Time Deposit placements and withdrawals

  • Inward and Outward remittances processing

  • Verification of remittances instructions

  • Following up on customer queries and investigations


Requirements


  • Minimum Diploma holder required

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome. Prior experience in reception, administrative support, or banking operations will be an advantage

  • Ability to work independently and has a positive, service-oriented attitude

  • Good team player with good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Preferably can handle MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
