Job description

Analytical Reviews of Operating Performance

• Review and prepare financial reports and related information on a timely basis to support management decision-making and operational planning.
• Analyse financial data, highlight exceptions, and identify areas for improvement.

System & Process Improvement

• Train and assist cost centre managers in budget analysis and preparation.
• Implement new reporting tools and management information systems.
• Enhance and expand financial systems and processes to improve management information functions.

Cost Management

• Monitor and identify major areas for cost improvement.
• Review cost information and collaborate with Department Heads/Managers to enhance performance.
• Provide profitability analysis by discipline and Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRGs).

New Project & Capital Evaluations

• Ensure proper cash management by monitoring and recommending timely investment actions.
• Maintain internal controls for capital acquisitions across the organisation.

Revenue & Subvention Management

• Analyse trends and ensure accurate recording of income.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission for subvention funding.
• Maintain integrity of revenue and subvention systems.

Pricing & Costing of Services

• Review pricing policies and submit fee revision proposals when necessary.
• Ensure proper costing information is maintained, reviewed periodically, and supported by reliable systems (e.g., data warehouse).

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a recognised professional qualification in accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
