A local financial services firm in Riyadh is seeking a Sr Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP, and oversee the accounting team. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS / GAAP standards.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and review journal entries.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Support external and internal audit processes.
- Review and implement financial controls and accounting policies.
- Handle VAT, tax filing, and other statutory compliance.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting assistants.
