Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an AutoCAD Draughtsman to prepare detailed drawings and develop 3D models. Candidates must have a diploma or degree in a technical field, proven experience in an engineering environment, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

The AutoCAD Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and models for engineering and architectural projects. The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical standards, and proficiency in both 2D drafting and 3D modelling software.
- Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop 3D models using Revit and/or Civil 3D for coordination and visualization purposes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through BIM360 for model sharing and design integration.
- Maintain drawing records, file management, and revision control.
- Support engineers and designers by translating conceptual designs into detailed working drawings.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with company and client CAD/BIM standards.
- Participate in design review meetings to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in an engineering or consulting environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and BIM360.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
