Process and manage company payroll for all employees on a timely basis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, deductions and other allowances.
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
- Record payroll payment in system, settle with accruals.
- Ensure accurate calculation of employee benefits, end‑of‑service benefits, and final settlements.
- Reconcile provision of end‑of‑service benefits with HR data and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide data to external consultants for EOS actuarial calculations as per IAS 19.
- Record final settlement payment and settle with provisions.
- Ensure accuracy of annual vacation calculations and reconcile between HCM module and accrual balances.
- Ensure vacation payment matches accrual balances, settle payments with accruals, and record necessary adjustments.
- Ensure accuracy of air‑ticket calculations and reconcile between HCM module and accrual balances; settle payments with accruals and record necessary adjustments.
- Ensure accuracy of third‑party invoices for outsourced employees.
- Ensure accuracy of casual labor invoices for outsourced employees.
- Check and confirm accuracy of medical insurance calculation for each employee and dependents.
- Ensure accuracy of monthly amortization calculation of medical insurance in system, settle with prepaid amount, and verify prepaid balance is correct.
- Ensure medical insurance of new joiners and leavers is updated on time with the insurance company.
- Any other task assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience of 3+ years as a payroll accountant in Saudi Arabia, with expertise in journal entries and accounting.
- Experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP S/4 HANA.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field such as ACCA, ICMA or CIMA.
- Strong time‑management skills.
