Responsibilities
The main purpose of the Logistics Manager role is to manage material logistics and coordinate all permanent material major items with the site for the functioning of SCA/PO/deliveries follow-up and status in an efficient and effective manner.
- Support and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
- Support the development of KSA national employees across the function to achieve corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and promote a culture of knowledge dissemination to build internal capabilities and maximize performance.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy, adopt company values across all functional employees, and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
- Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP.
- Track assigned KPIs.
- Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures in coordination with procurement and material management departments.
- Plan and manage shipping requirements.
- Review inventory reports and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply of materials.
- Keep stock control systems up to date, communicating with other departments to plan future capacity requirements and process related requests.
- Plan and manage the mobilization and demobilization for projects in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Recommend technological enhancements and improvements to computerized inventory tracking systems.
- Review delivery terms for all purchase orders and agreements, coordinating with the materials team.
- Monitor orders against predetermined requirements and advise sites of any variances.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Material Engineers regarding all material requirements and supplies.
- Manage the performance and development of all team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in Logistics & Expediting in a similar‑size operation (e.g., ESEC).
- Fluent in English; Arabic language preferred.
- Demonstrates advanced QA/QC management skills.
- Strong risk management abilities.
- Excellent HSE management capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of distribution and transportation operations.
- Proficient in data gathering, assessment, and analysis.
- Skilled in data management and record‑keeping.
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective in team management and collaboration across departments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects with a results‑oriented approach.
