Job summary

Requirements
  • SPM / Certificate or above; F&B, Hospitality or related fields will be an advantage.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in F&B as senior service crew / captain / supervisor is preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced restaurants, café or chain brands is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and people skills; able to guide and motivate junior staff.
  • Strong customer service mindset and able to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment during peak periods.
  • Basic POS and cash handling knowledge is preferred (training can be provided).
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise service crew during shifts to ensure smooth dine-in, takeaway and delivery operations.
  • Arrange daily floor assignments, table allocation and break times for the service team.
  • Ensure service speed, order accuracy and food serving standards are met according to SOP.
  • Greet guests, allocate seats and assist with taking orders during peak hours when needed.
  • Handle basic customer feedback and complaints on the spot; elevate serious issues to the Store Manager.
  • Check shop cleanliness, table turnover, cutlery/condiment replenishment and overall dining environment.
  • Train new service crew on greeting, order-taking, serving procedures, basic product knowledge and hygiene.
  • Monitor staff grooming, punctuality and work attitude, and give timely coaching or reminders.
  • Assist the Store Manager in simple daily reports such as headcount, sales summary and staff performance notes.
