  • Operate and monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP/IETS).

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Handle chemical dosing, preparation, and inventory count.
  • Maintain accurate daily Performance Monitoring Records.
  • Assist the Competent Person in managing scheduled waste.
  • Maintain high standards of Waste Water Treatment plant housekeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Operations: Operate and monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP/IETS) to ensure efficient performance.
  • Sampling & Testing: Conduct regular water sampling and laboratory analysis (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.) to monitor effluent quality.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment such as pumps, blowers, agitators, and screw pressed etc.
  • Chemical Management: Handle chemical dosing, preparation, and inventory count.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily Performance Monitoring Records. Assist in submit monthly reports for the Department of Environment (DOE).
  • Scheduled Waste: Assist the Competent Person in managing scheduled waste (e.g., sludge handling) including sludge handling, labelling, storage, and inventory record.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of Waste Water Treatment plant housekeeping
