Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking individuals for assembly roles, focusing on wooden boxes and crates. Responsibilities include following procedures, operating forklifts, and ensuring cleanliness. Job description

Salary: Basic 2000 + Allowance (performance based)

Working Hours: 8am - 8pm (Monday - Saturday)

Rest Hours: 13:00-14:00, 17:30-18:30

Job Description:

Assembly of wooden boxes and wooden crates.

Following work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent results are achieved each time.

Performing routine maintenance on machineries and equipment to ensure it continues to function properly and safely.

Operating forklifts for transferring of materials and products.

Checking the quality of incoming materials and products being produced to ensure they meet company standards.

Cleaning work areas before and after each shift and maintaining cleanliness of work area.

Setting up equipment or machines to begin production processes or adjusting existing equipment or machines to improve efficiency or reduce waste.

Qualifications:

Having carpentry, wooden box packaging experience is preferred.

Able to handle forklift will be an advantage.

Able to work 6 days week.

Self-motivated, responsible and good attitude.

Able to communicate in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Good attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
