About this Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Web Crawler Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining large‑scale data acquisition systems for global logistics, shipping, and supply chain tracking. This role involves deep technical work in anti‑bot bypass, reverse engineering, and handling complex, high‑volume integrations with international carriers.

What You Will Do

Must have legal work status in Malaysia (no sponsorship provided).

• Fluent in Chinese to collaborate effectively with our China‑based team.
• Develop and maintain crawlers that support supply chain, small parcel, and air freight tracking across multiple regions.
• Lead carrier migration and integration projects to ensure stable and accurate data acquisition.
• Work on advanced anti‑bot challenges including slider, click, alphanumeric captchas; fingerprinting and behaviour‑based bot detection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve crawler‑related issues raised by backend teams or customer support.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of high‑traffic crawler services.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5‑8 years of hands‑on experience with Python or Go.

• JS reverse engineering and unpacking.
• Anti‑bot / risk‑control analysis.
• Familiar with databases and messaging systems: MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, MQ, etc.
• Experience working with or bypassing PerimeterX, Shape, TLS fingerprinting, Cloudflare, reCAPTCHA, Akamai, or similar platforms.
• Background in cross‑border e‑commerce, logistics tracking, or global anti‑bot evasion is a strong plus.
