Job summary

A logistics company is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations in the Sorting Centre. Responsibilities include managing sorting, scheduling, and workflow while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements. Candidates should have a relevant diploma or degree and skills in leadership, collaboration, and problem solving. Experience in warehouse operations and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is preferred. The role offers a rotational shift schedule and the opportunity for overtime.

Job description
Working pattern & location:
  • Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 days)
  • Working location : PTD 113801, Jalan Persiaran Teknologi, Taman Teknologi Johor, Senai Johor
Job Descriptions:
  • Responsible for the daily Sorting Centre operations including physical operations - mainly receive, sort and outbound
  • Involves in scheduling, staffing and workflow management, monitoring of key performance metrics
  • Manage multiple stakeholders - coordinate between building owner, manpower provider, and internal operation teams
  • Ensuring the operations meet the targeted Service Level Agreement (SLA) by general management by exhibiting your problem solving and employee coaching/training skills wherever needed
  • Provide daily data reports & identify potential improvements to existing processes to reduce bottlenecks & improve the efficiency of your team
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is preferred. Others with transferrable skill sets are welcome to apply
  • Experienced in warehouse operations would be preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration and teamwork across different departments/stakeholders
  • Knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is encouraged
