Overview

A leading EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) client in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their expanding team in the Northern Region. With a focused vision to strengthen their market position and enhance global competitiveness, the company continues to build its success on operational excellence, streamlined logistics, and continuous improvement across all supply chain functions.

As part of their next phase of growth, they are looking for a skilled warehousing professional who can lead daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory control, optimise material flow, and uphold high standards in safety and compliance. The role will play a critical part in supporting end-to-end warehouse activities, improving operational efficiency, enhancing material traceability, and contributing directly to the scalability and responsiveness of the overall supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including the receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure raw materials, WIP, and finished goods are supplied to production accurately and on time.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through ERP/WMS controls (SAP S/4HANA), regular cycle counts, and periodic stock audits.
• Uphold proper FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure effective material rotation.
• Lead, schedule, coach, and upskill warehouse personnel, including stacker and forklift operators.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to support smooth operational flow.
• Enforce warehouse safety standards, 5S practices, and adherence to company and occupational safety regulations.
• Track warehouse performance metrics and prepare routine operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, workflow, and space utilization.

Qualifications

• Possesses a tertiary education or an equivalent qualification.
• Brings 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Well‑versed in inventory control principles, including FIFO and FEFO, with added advantage for candidates familiar with warehouse management systems such as SAP S/4HANA or the EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) module.
• Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, effective coordination skills, and solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Flexible, collaborative, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
