A leading logistics company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Kedah. The role includes overseeing warehouse operations, managing staff, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating logistics. Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in management, possess experience in warehousing, and have strong leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, along with communication abilities in Bahasa Malaysia and English, is essential. A friendly work environment and on-the-job training are offered.
Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff including pickers, packers, and forklift drivers.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and overall performance.
Delegate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics and transport teams.
Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments as needed.
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA or local safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is properly maintained.
Report and follow up on facility issues (e.g., lighting, racking, HVAC).
Monitor and control use of warehouse supplies and tools.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or 5S.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and workforce productivity.
Document incidents, damages, and discrepancies in stock or shipments.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
