Job summary

A logistics and transportation company based in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Transport Operations Manager. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in the warehousing and distribution industry, preferably with an FMCG background. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, updating stock balances, and leading safety audits. The role may require extra hours during peak times and demands excellent communication and people management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution industry.
• Preferably with FMCG background.
• Willingness to work extra hours/rest days/public holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Update stock balance after every inbound and outbound activity.
• Ensure accurate recording of picking and put-away of inventory in the system.
• Perform daily reconciliation of physical inventory against system records.
• Support the team to ensure all operations transactions are updated.
• Ensure all billing transactions are recorded and billed to customers accurately.
• Lead setup of new warehouse & transport operations and Go Live.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse and transport operations.
• Lead site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) audits.
